Schneider, MD, PhD, a specialist in addiction medicine and pain management, discusses the myths and misunderstandings that prevent physicians from prescribing opioids for the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal pain, such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and low back pain.
